Katdare Misal Masala
- Misal is a typical Maharashtrian dish, savoured all over the world. The Misal curry is prepared with moth beans/ sprouted mung beans. It is garnished with lots of farzan, sev, chopped onions and coriander.
- Use Katdare Misal Masala to make a delicious gravy for Misal.
How to use Misal Masala:
- Take one medium onion finely chopped and saute it in 5 tbsp oil till it becomes brown.
- Add one medium tomato finely cut and 1 pack of Katdare Misal masala mix it well and keep frying till the mixture start leaving oil and you can see oil layer up on the top. Add 5 cups of water into this and bring to boil. It is called Kat for the Misal
- Now take 150gm of sprouted moth beans (matki) red chilli powder, salt and cook it till tender.
- Once the Kat and Usal is ready, finely chop onion and tomato. While serving, in a big soup bowl add , pour the ready Misal Kat over it.
- Add 2tbsp chiwda, farsan, sev, 2tbsp chopped onion, chopped tomato, lemon juice and chopped fresh coriander. Serve Hot with sliced Bread.
