IndianSupermarkt reserves the right to reject returns from any particular customer, in case of frequent returns by such customer, which shall mean returns on more than 3 occasions in a financial year

Return / Refund Policy

Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please follow the instructions below:

Our policy lasts 5 days. If 2 days for Food items and 5 days for Non-foods items have gone by since Order Delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

Food items here does not include perishable and frozen products.

To be eligible for a Return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and in a Saleable condition. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable products, Frozen products, Books, Decor items, Puja Items and religious product (Festival & Pooja Category) category cannot be returned or refunded.

Puja and Ceremony Items - No product from this category comes under return or refund. Video is preferred in few cases like statue, or leaves etc only to have confirmation or proof that packing was done appropriate.

For Fabric, Jewelry items,Sport items etc: As the Karton arrives, kindly make a video as you open the karton after delivery. When the product seems damaged in the karton itself, product can be considered as damaged.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refund Policy (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Refund initiation takes 10-15 working days.

There are certain situations where no refunds are granted (if applicable) 

Book with obvious signs of use 

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 

Any item that is returned more than after 14 days of delivery

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 

    

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at contact@indiansupermarkt.de. 

Refund on Order Cancellation 

On frequent Cancellation of an Order by a customer, preferably minimum 3 order cancellations, further Order cancellation will levied a deduction of 20% of your Order Value.  

Packet Lost - After the dispatch of Order delivery via courier, a tracking number is shared with the customer on the given Email. Parcel needs to be track by the customer.

In case, customer claims that the parcel/packet is not delivered inspite courier portal claims of delivery done; an investigation will be lead by the courier Team. Investigation might take 4-5 weeks or as per Courier Team's process. When the courier team confirm us on Packet Lost, refund will be initiated. 

In case of negetive findings in investigation, this will consider an unlawful activity and customer can be penalised in court proceedings by courier comapany as well.

Sale items (if applicable) 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Marzahner Str. 17 Raum A3-A4 13053 Berlin , Germany. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

We will not accept returns of items, if insufficient postage stamp is applied.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Please keep the postage receipt with you until you receive your refund, for your reference.

 

Voucher Allotment

  1. Purpose:

    • Compensation vouchers are issued to customers to address issues such as missing products, damaged goods, or other inconveniences encountered with their orders.
  2. Voucher Validity:

    • The validity period for each compensation voucher will be specified in the email or communication in which the voucher is sent. Vouchers cannot be redeemed after the expiry date.
  3. Usage:

    • Compensation vouchers are redeemable only on our website www.indiansupermarkt.de.
    • Vouchers can be used for the purchase of any products listed on the website, unless specified otherwise.
    • Only one compensation voucher can be used per transaction. Vouchers cannot be combined with other promotional offers (like free delivery) or discounts unless explicitly stated.
  4. Redemption:

    • To redeem a compensation voucher, enter the unique voucher code provided in the designated field during the checkout process.
    • The value of the voucher will be deducted from the total purchase amount.
    • If the total purchase amount is less than the voucher value, the remaining balance cannot be carried over or redeemed in cash.
  5. Eligibility:

    • Compensation vouchers are issued on a case-by-case basis and are specific to the customer who experienced the issue. They are non-transferable and can only be used by the recipient to whom they were issued.
  6. Refunds and Exchanges:

    • If a purchase made using a compensation voucher is refunded, the refund will be processed according to our standard refund policy. The value of the voucher will not be refunded or reissued.
    • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or other forms of credit.
  7. Lost or Stolen Vouchers:

    • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of compensation vouchers. Vouchers will not be replaced under any circumstances.
  8. Amendments:

    • We reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of the voucher will constitute acceptance of these changes.
  9. General:

    • Compensation vouchers are issued at our discretion and we reserve the right to cancel or withdraw any voucher at any time without prior notice.
    • Any additional terms and conditions related to specific compensation vouchers will be provided with the voucher or in the communication sent with the voucher.
